What to include in your dredging enquiry

Begin with the town or site location and a short description of the area that needs dredging. Tell us whether it is a marina, waterway, dam, wastewater lagoon, sediment pond or another setting. Include your preferred timing and explain the result you are looking for. If the scope is still being developed, it is fine to say which details are not yet known.

Where available, include the target dredging depth and an estimate of the area or quantity of material involved. Describe the material as well as you can, and let us know if sampling information exists. Details about a pond liner, water levels and restrictions on access can also help us understand the conditions before discussing equipment.

Plans, photographs and discharge arrangements

The form is designed for a straightforward initial enquiry. To share drawings, photographs or other files, email info@dredgingservices.com.au directly. A site plan showing the dredging area, vehicle access and proposed spoil-management area can be particularly useful. Please identify the site and your contact name in the email so the information can be connected with your enquiry.

If you know where the dredged material will be discharged, tell us the approximate distance from the work area and any elevation changes along the route. Include any restrictions on pipeline placement or movement around the site. These details help frame the discussion about the complete dredging arrangement, not just the machine on the water.

Discuss the work with Catfish

Let us know whether you are enquiring about equipment hire or an operated dredging service. Include any requirements for commissioning, operator support or site induction that you already know about. Catfish is based in Townsville and generally mobilises along Australia’s east coast; your location and timing help us discuss the practical arrangements.
