A floating platform for work on the water. Ask about configuration, access and suitability for the planned task.
Enquire about this equipmentBrochures describe equipment configurations and may include historical specifications. Confirm current equipment, performance and availability with us before planning your project.
Browse all equipment brochuresThe size of the water body is only one part of equipment selection. Material type, dredging depth, access and the pumping route also affect which configuration is appropriate. A small, shallow area requiring carefully directed suction presents a different task from a larger pond containing accumulated sludge or tailings.
Consider how the dredger will be transported and placed in the water, as well as where operators will work. Let us know about any limits on vehicle access, available launch areas or restrictions around the edge of the pond. Photos and a simple site plan can make these conditions easier to explain.
Pumping and working arrangements may require supporting equipment in addition to the dredger. The discharge distance, elevation changes and material characteristics help determine whether additional pumping capacity needs to be considered. Discuss the complete arrangement with us rather than selecting a pump on the basis of distance alone.
The brochures linked here describe equipment from the Catfish library. Use them to understand the range and prepare questions about a proposed job. Confirm the current machine, configuration and availability with the team before using brochure specifications in a project plan. If you are unsure which equipment to ask about, send your site details through the contact page and describe what you need to achieve.
